The end of the semester brings warm weather, stressful finals and, of course, a heaping load of bad timing. The situation I’m referring to is nothing shy of a college girl’s worst nightmare.
Hello from beautiful Costa Rica!
Don’t think I’ve forgotten about y’all while I’ve been away!
It’s actually the complete opposite! I’ve been thinking about you guys a lot while I’m on vacation, but that’s because I’ve got an exciting giveaway for you all! Stay tuned for the end of the post for details! But first, I’ll obviously share my outfit of the day with you guys, after all, you’re not truly on vacation in an exotic location until you break out the maxi dresses, no? 🙂
I don’t know if I even know how to survive a never-ending illness considering I’m STILL sick after 3 weeks of being infected with God knows what. The official diagnosis was viral bronchitis and a sinus infection, but to me that translated to exhaustion, difficulty breathing and perpetually teary-eyed. I have managed to get this far past my illnesses, but, I just know, walking pneumonia is waiting for me around the corner. That being said, I’ve compiled a list of the things that have gotten me through these last 3 weeks of pure pain and discomfort.
this was my first-ever large-scale DIY art project. it was a little time consuming, but a lot of fun. here’s how i did it:
Bad things happen. Bad things can happen to good people. And I don’t think we’ll ever really understand why. This last year I experienced loss in a variety of different ways: the passing away of loved ones, loss of friendship, personal trauma and saying goodbye to the familiarity of living at home. Adjusting to change has never come easily to me, but seeing as each of these obstacles produced very permanent changes, I was given no option other than to adjust.
